I'm laughing at clouds so dark up above

I actually had a whole blog post written but I changed my mind. After it rained all day (practically), I kept thinking of various rainy day songs so I've decided to make a list of my favorites.

  • Singin' in the Rain - naturally.
  • Isn't This A Lovely Day (To Be Caught in the Rain)
  • A Fella With An Umbrella
  • Pennies From Heaven
  • April Showers
Okay, so it's a short list. Do any of you have favorite rainy day songs that I've missed?

And, while we're on the subject, here's a little something I made a while ago with one of the songs listed above:

  1. Those first three are among my favorite rainy day songs, too. I also like "Here's that Rainy Day," "September in the Rain," "Fire and Rain," and, of course, "Rainy Days and Mondays" - one of my favorites from way back.

I don't have time to watch your video right now, but I look forward to seeing later.

  4. I love your blog!
My favorite on the list is Isn't it a Lovely Day. They are all amazing songs, especially Singin' in the Rain. Can you imagine having a temperature of 103 degrees like Gene Kelly did when he sung and danced to this song?!?! Wow!

  6. I loved the list, Sally! I love mostly "Isn't it a lovely day" and "April showers".
May I add one too? "It's raining man".

  7. "I Found a Million Dollar Baby (in a Five and Ten Cent Store)" starts out with the line "It was a lucky April shower..." and involves it raining for hours. I love that song!
